Why choose a private villa instead of a hotel?: Staying in a good hotel in the Orlando area can prove to be expensive and with one or two bedrooms to accommodate a family it can be cramped and inconvenient.

Villa Solana has plenty of space for everyone to relax. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to choose when to go out to eat or if you prefer to stay home or dine al fresco by the pool you have the choice. There are 2 master suites each with their own private bathroom and all of the bedrooms have their own TV.

A private villa has so much more to offer when compared to a hotel for price, facilities, space, privacy, amenities and location.
What are the benefits of a resort community?: Staying in a resort community will greatly add to the enjoyment of your vacation. You have all the benefits of your own private villa but with the added facilities of a fabulous clubhouse with ammenities that you would expect to find at a resort hotel. As guests of the villa the clubhouse ammenities and resort pool are free for you to use during your stay.
How many people can stay in the villa?: The villa can comfortably accommodate 8 persons plus 2 additional infants.
Where is the villa located?: The villa is conveniently located just off of highway 27, 3 miles south of the junction with 192. Interstate 4 is also very close giving guests alternative routes to get to the parks. This is a bonus during busy season when 192 can get quite congested. Orlando international airport is an easy 40 minute drive and Sanford should take no longer than 90 minutes.
Are Children Welcome?: Children are always welcome at Villa Solana. There is so much to keep them busy. The clubhouse provides entertainment for older kids while younger children can play in the private pool or keep busy in the toy box. We have a games room with a full size pool table and full size air hockey table. There is also a PS/2. For families with infants we have a travel crib, stroller and highchair for you to use free of charge.
How do I make a reservation?: Fill in the booking form here online and we will be in touch to confirm dates and prices. The booking will be confirmed when we receive the security deposit and a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions which is available for you to download on the website.
How can we pay for our accommodation?: We accept check money order or bank wire. The balance of your payment is due 8 weeks before arrival.
Why do you need a security deposit?: Your security deposit will be returned to you within 4 weeks of your departure and is subject to the confirmation from our management company that the villa and its contents are in the same condition as they were upon your arrival. Any damage, breakage's, excessive use of utilities or leaving the villa in a condition that requires extra cleaning will result in money being deducted from your security deposit. If we find evidence of smoking in the villa all of your security deposit will be forfeited.
What do I do if there is a problem or if something goes wrong during my stay?: We employ a local management company to oversee the smooth running of the villa. They are friendly and helpful and if you have a problem they are available 24 hours.
What do we do when we arrive: You go straight to the villa. All your arrival information will be sent when your final balance has been received. It will give you clear directions to the as well as how to access the home when you arrive.
Is the pool heated?: The pool is naturally warm in the summer months but you may wish to use the pool heater from October to April. Pool heat is an additional charge and is bookable in advance.
How secure is the villa?: The villa is located in a gated resort community and has a 24 hour monitored security alarm.
Does the villa have a telephone?: Yes. The number will be given to you in your arrival pack. All local long distance and international calls are free of charge.
How much sun does the pool and deck get?: The deck and pool are south facing and benefit from all day sun. There is a covered porch if you prefer the shade.
How private is the villa?: The villa has no homes backing onto it and we have installed Florida glass at the sides of the pool to increase privacy.
Where are the nearest convenience stores?: There are a number of grocery stores within easy reach of Solana, the closest is Publix which is 2 miles north on highway 27. One of the areas largest Walmarts is a five minute drive from the villa. There are also drug stores, gas stations and restaurants close by. We will send you a full list of options in your welcome pack before you arrive. If you have special needs or are looking for something in particular we will do our best to help you find it.
