Location
Solana is the finest new resort community in the Disney area. Ideally and conveniently located for all Orlando attractions, Solana is on US Highway 27 between the junction with Interstate Highway 4 and US Highway 192. The resort is simple drive from Orlando International Airport and will take no more than 40 minutes.
Local Shops
There is a Publix supermarket and other shops one mile north on Highway 27 and a Walgreen's drug store and gas stations one mile to the south. The I4 junction has a number of restaurants. There is a new Super Walmart 5 minutes drive north on the 27. See the Local Attractions page for additional shopping options.
Theme Parks
Getting to Walt Disney World is easy: head north on US 27 and then turn east on to Highway 192. The Black Lake Road back entrance to the Disney complex is 3 miles down the 192. If you want the main gate continue another 2 miles down the 192 and take the World Drive turnoff to the heart of Walt Disney World.
As an alternative to the Highway 192 route (which can be busy in the rush hour) go south to the I4 and take a left towards Orlando. After 7 miles you take the World Drive exit into Walt Disney World.
Sea World, Wet & Wild and Universal Studios are all well signposted a few miles further up the I4.
Busch Gardens is less than an hour away heading south on the I4.
Kennedy Space center is a 1 hour drive East.
Beaches
The gulf coast can be reached in 90 minutes and the Atlantic coast is a 60 minute drive.
